In my last year of my formal studies at NAIT for Photography we were required to have a thesis. I decided to create 15 different portraits of people being surrounded by things. These images are outtakes from my “surrounded by canola” image.
Just before we entered the canola field a rabbit as tall as my knee came hurdling out from the canola and collided with my leg and sent my leg flying behind me. In the half second that I looked behind me I noticed the rabbit was at least a kilometer away already. Those things are huge! Left my leg full of rabbit hair, and my friends from class laughing. It was definitely something I’ll remember, and add to the list of things that have happened while on a photoshoot.
