Levi and Madi’s August wedding day in Clive and Lacombe, Alberta, was so beautiful! I started the day with their first look, which was so sweet. I think Madi wasn’t expecting to cry but that feeling of relief of seeing your husband to be, just makes everything fade away hey? I am personally all for showing your emotions on your wedding day! To me it makes it that much more meaningful. She is stunning.
After their first look and family photos we started their formal photos on the grounds on the Lacombe Research and Development Centre . We had some dreamy warm light from the sun coming through the residual smoke from some BC fires. Looking back at the weather, it was a high of 34°C (or 93.2F for my US friends).
Their Ceremony was performed on the Wagner family farm, with many family members there to surround the couple with love and support. After their ceremony, we headed to their reception at a local community hall. Their wedding very much reminded me of my own wedding day in 2014. Both young couples, mid august wedding, an outdoor ceremony on a beautiful property, and a community hall reception. I felt really connected to this couple because of this!
